I love Harry Potter! Nancy finished reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix before I did, and told me the Weasleys exploded. That's when I realized she wasn't serious about the series. For those of us who really live in Harry's

Update July 22, 2007: We've seen movie 5 and finished book 7. I want to start at the beginning, savor the details, and ponder the new series that could well spring from Harry Potter. Caryn PS Some parents read Harry Potter books to very young children. This could give them, the kids, nightmares. PPS I noticed - along with adults and critics everywhere - that Harry wasn't always Mr. Manners in Book 5. Even if we don't have evil wizards or their real life equivalent breathing down our necks, we all have bad days. But no one enjoys being on the wrong side of a mean comment or harsh word, so let's try to say things in the way we'd like to hear them. PPPS Have you made your own butterbeer? Caramel syrup and soda sound awful together.
