SEED BEADS:
My bead group spends about half of its time on seed bead projects. When I waltz in with The Big Book of Beading Patterns, tongues will hang out and everyone will want a copy (because they can't have mine). "Bead and Button" magazine compiled this book of 130 patterns for the seed beader in all of us. Yum! Nancy

SEED BEADS:
Jean Campbell is a well known author who has hit on a terrific concept in Creating Glamorous Jewelry with Swarovski Elements. She's paired photos of classic, old glamour Hollywood with making jewelry like the stars wore. And I have to say, I love the looks - especially that of Vivien Leigh. Nancy

SEED BEADS: Crystal Brilliance, by Anna Elizabeth Draeger, is more than a seed bead book. The author shows project after project that combines seed beading stitches with crystals, lots of crystals, in a sort of perfect storm of gorgeousness. My beading friends and I will be spending hours with this book. Nancy

SEED BEADS: Cube Bead Stitching is the seed bead book for anyone who isn't sure she wanted to try traditional beading. I love the difference the shape of a bead makes, and highly recommend Virginia Jensen's book. Nancy
PS Author Jensen has also published Contemporary Cube Bead Designs. We share a love of the unique projects you can create when you use cube beads.

SEED BEADS: I wasn't sure where to put Jewelry for the New Romantic within these jewelry book categories. Because this book by Nealay Patel is subtitled Unexpected Techniques with Crystals and Beading Wire, you know it's innovative. It's also exciting to see how easy its sophisticated stitching/stringing projects are. You will wish you had a copy yesterday so you could be wearing something special today. Nancy

SEED BEADS: Seed Bead Savvy appeared magically in my mail box and the rest of my day was spent in bead heaven. When I first started beading, I shied away from seed beads because I lack a crocheting background, but you know what? You will make all kinds of beautiful jewelry with seed beads and this bead book. SEED BEADS: Stitch Workshop: Herringbone is a wonderful addition to the Bead&Button catalog. My friends are light years ahead of me when it comes to all things seed beads, but this book, this series, is going to change things. I will be able to hold my head up - the better to show off my "Turquoise Ropes" necklace. Stitch Workshop actually does make learning fun! Nancy

SEED BEADS: I've really gotten into beading now that I have a group of friends who guide me. But it's books such as Your Seed Bead Style from Bead&Button magazine that set my bead lust aflame. I want to amass bead stashes like my friends have (you wouldn't believe me) and make gorgeous seed bead plus pearl and crystal or even tile (I kid you not, it's in the book) and whip up something jaw dropping. And with Your Seed Bead Style, I have the directions to do just that. Nancy
