Our mini book reviews started out because I was not thrilled with the look of the quotation pages.  And of course I got the idea that we could sell a book or two, which wouldn't hurt the old balance sheet. 

Since I never bother to finish books I don't like, you will only find mini-reviews of books I really and truly recommend.*  If you disagree, feel free to let me know at nancy@greenlightwrite.com, but I'm the readaholic here.

And as a world class readaholic, I've probably read and enjoyed more books than you have miles on your car.  I will never live long enough to go back and list the good ones for you.  These reviews are only the tip of the tip of that iceberg.

This page is an attempt to put some order into the whole thing, but it's a work in progress.

Do you have a (horrors!!!) difference of opinion with Nancy? 

That's your right and privilege.  I speak as the fanatical reader of thousands of books of all kinds.  I read for entertainment and information.  So get your facts straight, and don't suggest I waste my time if the plot is poorly constructed, because even if the story is fantastic, I haven't got time for bad writing. 

And don't even consider sending me anything that hasn't been  edited by a real professional editor.  I recently read a promising book that needed an editor's touch.  When I suggested this to the author, she said she had already had the book edited!  Nancy

PS  Check your punctuation, people.  Even as I write this, I am looking at a thick volume that suffers from underlined words and punctuation mistakes - it's "1920s," not "1920's."  I'm not sure I have the stamina to read on.
