You'll need:
Assembly: With a small nail and hammer or with a drill, make one small hole in the lip (edge) of each of the burner covers where you will wire them together between the head and tummy. In the 6” cover (head), drill a second small hole directly opposite the first. This is for hanging. Spray paint the burner covers solid white. Once the paint is dry, insert a small length of wire through the holes in the head and tummy to connect the body. Insert more wire in the hole at the top and make a loop for hanging. Glue the eyes, nose, and mouth shells onto the head and three shells on the tummy for buttons. Glue greenery off center in the neck area. Glue the bow on top, off center as well. Add ornamentation to the bow. Earmuffs: Cut a 13” piece of bendable wire for the headband of the ear muffs. Twist wire ribbon around the wire to cover it. To make the headband stand out, leave 1/2” to 1” space between the top of the head and the headband. Glue the end of the covered wire to the sides of the head where the ears will be. Glue the two matching seashells over the end of the covered wire where ears go. Hang and enjoy. |
