Crafts Mini Reviews of Books on Crafting I love to recycle/reuse when I can. It's good for all of us, it's inexpensive in many cases, it requires imagination, and it's fun! Pull out the paints and get started on this family craft.
Enjoy,

You'll need:
Wipe down both sides of the disks with alcohol and a soft cloth to remove any fingerprints/oils so paint will adhere. On newspaper, spray paint each side of each disk with silver, gold, white, spray paint, whatever color you want your background to be. Allow each side to dry according to spay can directions. Trace, stencil, or free hand a pattern, original design, or recognizable object like a pine tree, snowman, pinecones, flowers, etc., onto the surface of a painted cd. Apply clear or gold glitter paint. Let dry. Apply clear sealer. Let dry. Using narrow lace, ribbon, yarn, etc, if possible, hang near a light or window so your disk will dazzle. Enjoy decorated disks anywhere such as a holiday tree, a swag, cabinet knob, curtain rod, hook. Hang one or several horizontally or vertically like a sun catcher. The possibilities are endless!
