Reviewer Comments "The author has written a delightful story with The Goodbye Lie. "Treachery, deceit, lies, and jealousy all threaten Bree, her cousin, and even her entire family. Love, it seems, has a mind of its own, and will not be denied. "The Goodbye Lie, the first of a series, is an engaging story from Jane Marie. I look forward to the next, Velvet Undertow, which will revolve around Breelan’s sister, Carolena." Jennifer Wardrip of RomanceJunkies.com

John Robert, Virginia "Outstanding is an understatement! Talk about a sit-on-the-edge-of-your-seat book, this is definitely one! Juanita Morris, Florida "Couldn't put it down. For anyone with a love that will forever be with them ... that changed them for eternity. You will enjoy identifying with the love and intense passion of the lead characters. This is a classy novel full of old fashioned romance without all the cheap smut." Barbara Bayer, Florida Such a good story. I couldn't put it down. The most romance I've "had" in a while. Maria, Florida "A thoroughly satisfying tale that you won’t be embarrassed to be caught reading." Linda Steele, Florida "The Goodbye Lie" is very entertaining with an “Alfred Hitchcock” twist. I would like to get a few extra to send to my friends in Wisconsin for Christmas." Vicki Akins, Florida "Romance, murder, suspicion, forbidden love, lies and deceit. You’ll find them all in this enjoyable read that will not only captivate you through its many twists and turns and keep you guessing until the final chapters, but also gives interesting background to the history of … Amelia Island." Sally Humphry, Florida "The Goodbye Lie" ... is an historically-based love story with many fascinating events to keep the reader’s mind anticipating what will happen next - fire, murder, romance. The writer has woven this story around past events that have taken place within the Amelia Island community. The author has also done her research. As a professional horticulturist, [I can state] her references to the native plants and the seasonal events of flowering are very accurate. I would highly recommend this novel to anyone who enjoys suspense, drama, and nature." Larry Dingman, Florida
