Martha Bear's own Beary Juice

Beary Juice is the Official Beverage of the staff of the Worldwide Headquarters of greenlightWRITE.com and the felines of the South East Branch, i.e., GraciousJaneMarie.com. Served at all functions, formal and informal, it is Jane Marie’s drink of choice. Its story, Martha Bear® and the Beverage of Choice, is the stuff of legends.

For one serving, combine:

1 cup of cranberry juice cocktail
Splash of pineapple juice
Orange slice for garnish (optional)

Serve over ice in a tall glass.

Virgin Mary

For one serving, combine:

Salt (optional)
Ice

Dip the rim of a glass in water, then into salt in a shallow dish to cover the edge.

Fill the glass with ice.

Combine and pour into the glass:

Splash of Tabasco®
Splash of lemon juice, fresh (bottled is optional)
Splash of Worcestershire sauce
1 cup of tomato juice
Dash of black pepper (optional)

Garnish with a celery stick.

Fruit and Ice Cream

For one serving, combine:

1/2 cup orange juice
1/4 cup pineapple juice
1/4 cup cranberry juice cocktail
4 frozen strawberries
Vanilla ice cream or vanilla frozen yogurt (non-fat optional)
Fresh strawberries

In a blender, mix juices, frozen strawberries and one scoop of ice cream.

Pour the mixture into a champagne glass.

Top with a dollop of ice cream and a fresh strawberry.

Pink Champ-Ale

For one serving, combine in a tall glass:

1/2 cup white grape juice, chilled
1/2 cup raspberry ginger ale, chilled
1 tablespoon non-alcoholic Grenadine syrup

Yowza!

For one serving, combine in a mug:

One 8 ounce glass of non-alcoholic beer
Tomato juice to taste

Garnish with a lime wedge

Mock Piña Colada

For six servings:

Blend the following until light and foamy. Pour over ice in tall glasses.

2 cups non-fat milk powder (do not add water or reconstitute)
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon coconut extract
2 tablespoons sugar
2 cups unsweetened pineapple juice

Garnish with one or more maraschino cherries with stems.

Lemon Fin

For one serving, you'll need:

Ice
Club soda
2 to three teaspoons powdered sugar
1 ounce lemon juice
Lemon slice

Fill a glass halfway with ice.

Cover the ice with the club soda, stopping about an inch from the top.

Add the powdered sugar and lemon juice. Stir well.

Garnish with the lemon slice.
