Picture it - you're on a trip to Outer Janeland and the weather is terrible.  There is absolutely nothing to do but read and you, you lucky dog, have 100 novels on your ebook reader.  Now there's an escape!

How about this?  You're a college student who has just paid over $400 for four new textbooks that you will sell back to the college bookstore for $23.92.  Wouldn't you rather download the books you need for perhaps $20 each?

Or suppose you have the kind of job that requires you to sit at a pc and look busy.  It's an ebook to the rescue again.
