Before you say "yuck,” give this flavorful gem a try. My daughter and I had them all the time when she was growing up and still do when she visits. In fact, no matter if there is a steak grilling or a lobster boiling, she will more often than not, ruin her dinner with a peanut butter and pickle sandwich. Hey, if it makes her happy, it's a better thing! The secret is to use sweet pickles, not dill. If you're watching your calories and don't want to make sandwiches or you need an appetizer, just put a dollop of peanut butter on a sweet pickle slice and serve as Peanut Butter Crisps.
