The DF and I visit zoos whenever we can. We were excited about our November 2004 trip to the San Francisco Zoo until we arrived at the the uninspiring entrance. While we never got over the feeling it simply couldn't be one of the top 10 zoos in the US, we were won over by some of SFZ's animals and several of the exhibits. In any case, there's nothing wrong with the San Francisco Zoo a few million dollars couldn't fix.
