Hello to My Special One, It's that time of year, Christmas! Here at the North Pole, we’ve been getting ready. The trains are polished, the dolls are dressed, and the sleigh bells have been tested to be sure their jingles are in tune. Even the cat and dog have pitched in this year by breathing on the windows of my workshop to keep them steamy so no intruders can sneak a peak. Mrs. Claus has been busy baking cookies and stirring hot chocolate for all of our elves and making sure the reindeer have plenty of berries to munch on. She likes to be certain my belly is very full so my red suit will fit just right. The snow is deep up here at the North Pole, but you're not to worry. I have a spare set of snow shoes and Rudolph with his nose so bright. He will guide my way on Christmas Eve. I know how good you've been all year and I'm very proud of you. I will do my best to give you that special present you want. Just remember the best present of all is someone who loves you. I always will. Get to bed early on Christmas Eve so you can rise with the sun and open your goodies. Speaking of goodies, my favorite kinds of cookies are round, square, flat or fat. Oh, and the reindeer like those little carrots or those big carrots. Actually they like most fruits and veggies since they are good for them, just like they are good for you. Ho, ho, ho! I'll be by soon! Merry Christmas to all. Love, Santa P.S. The elves are doing double duty dropping this letter off at your house for you to find. I just want you to know we'll be by for sure on the night before you know when!
